Rembering Kevin Jeffers

It is with much Sadness that The Faustina Hockey Club informs you of the passing of Kevin Jeffers, a friend to many around the rink and a person who always had a smile to share.

Kevin created our first website, launched our Facebook page and spent many Saturdays in the time keeping booth.   Kevin was also very involved in fundraising for the club..

As you are likely aware, The Faustina Hockey Club is a 100% volunteer driven organization.  There is a small army of volunteers that take on various tasks that keep things running.  There are also a few members like Kevin that were known to go above and beyond the call of duty – even giving up personal vacation time to run fundraising during our Christmas Tournament.

He will be greatly missed.  Included is a picture of Kevin from our Christmas tournament last year

On Friday November 21st from 6pm-9pm there will be a Celebration Of Life for Kevin at the Maple Leaf House (near Lakeshore & 2nd St).  Everyone is invited as we pay our respects to Kevin and his family.
